About 30 people celebrated Christmas in July at the Commercial Hotel last Saturday and raised approxiametley $1400 for an orphange in India.
Organiser Leah von Ahlburg was overwhelemed by the generosity shown.
Last year a similar event was held and the money raised helped to buy the orphange uniforms for their school.
The money raised goes to an orphanage in a remote village in Veerapanenigudem which is run by Reverend Joseph Rajus of Church of the Living God Ministries.
Guest speaker Luke Larsen from the Armidale Chiropractic clinic gave a very informative talk on the benefits of chiropractic treatments.
