Coogee's column

23 Oct, 2009 03:00 AM
SOMETIMES when one laughs at another’s misfortune it can come back to bite you as Meridian Street resident Debra Sweeney found out last Saturday night while attending the 50th birthday party of Rodger Jamieson at his place. Early in the evening Sandra Laurie walked into a large glass sliding door thinking it was open and then a bit later Steph ‘Wilson’ Sweeney did exactly the same thing much to the amusement of Debra who was present both times.

ANYWAY, as the night wore on Debbie was on her way inside when she hit the closed door so hard she rebounded back and nearly fell off the edge of the back deck. All that can be said is Debbie Tickle (Byrne) did a good job cleaning the window in preparation for the party.
