Some very nice wins were recorded during the break but none more so than Jill Nivison and Sandy Tait’s Sandberg who won nicely at Canberra last week,

Sandberg was ridden a perfect race by Kathy O’Hara who was content to smoke her pipe at the rear of the field until turning for home, but when she asked Sandberg for an effort he certainly put in winning with ease.

There are more wins in store for Sandberg and a city start will be on the cards for him. Peter, Helen and Belinda Wauch were on good terms at Port Macquarie last Friday when I Love Legs surprised the experts with a very nice win.
