NEW England U13s Girls Indoor Hockey team which includes Walcha player Karly O’Hara are State Champions after they won division 3 at Port Macquarie last weekend. The girls went through their four preliminary games and semi finals undefeated before accounting for Bathurst 3-1 in the final.

THIS weekend the New England U15s Girls Indoor Hockey team which includes Walcha players Kara Harrison, Elyse O'Hara, Nichola Armstrong and Camilla Eliott are off to the Central Coast to compete in the NSW Championships. Best of luck girls.

ACCORDING to Walcha Council general manager Jack O’Hara, who was an interested spectator at Port, the game was not only lightening fast but quite dangerous and, considering a hockey ball is used instead of a puck, there is little wonder why.
