A Walcha teenager was trampled by a bull while competing at the Stroud Rodeo last Friday night.

Timothy Partridge, 16, of Walcha (pictured), was flown to the John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter after falling from the bull he was riding.
A spokesman for the helicopter service said the boy had been trampled after the fall.
He suffered chest injuries but was in a stable condition upon arrival at the hospital and has since been discharged.
His aunt Linda Smith, of Thornton, said he had been competing in rodeos for several years.
‘‘He loves his bullriding and bareback riding,’’ she said.
