Scratch winners Tim Beaumont and Vic Coulter (142) finished three strokes clear of Darling River pair Richard Maclean and Peter Hutchinson who counted out Gary Richardson (Tamworth) and Graeme George (Newcastle).
Nett winners Tim Fenwicke and Bill Fletcher accumulated 93 stableford points (54, 48) to scrape home by a single pint from stablemates Crichton Barr and Barry Hoad (43, 49).
In the ladies division Jill Burnell teamed up with former Walcha resident Linda Ison, who now resides in Wauchope, to notch up a winning score of 92 (45, 47) stableford points. Runners-up were 2014 ladies state champion Cheryl McDonald and Jeanette Wark a point away on 91 (46, 45).
Day one winners in the scratch were Cobar duo Roy Bennett and Max Phillips on 71, nine strokes clear of Gary Richardson and Graeme George on 72, while on day two Col Berry and Simeon Cross won with 73 off the beater - four shots ahead of Lee Hunt and Les Gardoll from Boggabri.
Nett winners on day one were Owen Presnell and Phil Perry after they racked up 45 stableford points while the runners-up on Saturday were Uralla pair Albert Egli and Ian Douglas 44.
The second day went to Billl Heazlett and Andrew Robertson after they compiled 44 points, just one point ahead of Doug McDonald and Col Higgins.
In the ladies division Rose Baumer and Julie Presnell won the nett event on day one after notching up 46 points one point clear of Sally McCormack and Vicki Heffernan.
Visitors Sue Green (Bourke) and Sue Phillips (Cobar) were the day two winners with a very good score of 49 points, three points in front of Lorraine Rennie and Bev Forbes
Sharpest shooters at the pins were Graeme George (3), Richard McLean (9), Tony Asmus (16) and Bill Fletcher (18) during the opening round, while Phil Eather (3), Lee Hunt (9), Michael Sykes (16) and Vicki Szpitalak (18) were the most accurate with their tee shots on the second day.
This Sunday is the Colleen Cross Memorial trophy to be played under an individual format instead of a 4BBB for the first time since 1986.
Best of luck to NSW Sandgreen champion Luke Brennan when he heads to Nyngan to defend his title this weekend along with his father Wayne, brother Andrew, Kyle Goodwin Owen Presnell and Jon Izzard who are also flying the Walcha flag.
