The Quota ladies are revved-up and ready to cook their famous breakfast in the park, at the annual market on November 29.
Kerry Fair from Quota said that while the stalls open at 8am, many people arrive before that as breakfast is available from 6.30am.
“It’s hard to resist an instant hot breakfast, with no cooking and no washing up ... a nice way to start the weekend,” she said.
“McHattan Park is a very pleasant spot to spend a Saturday morning and because it’s in the heart of town people can visit the market then continue on to the great little shops in Walcha.”
Kerry said that the range of goods at this year’s market will surprise people.
“The Quota market is a once-a-year event so we choose the stalls carefully,” she said.
“That’s probably why the market has such a good reputation. Some of the new stalls this year include baby linen, self-watering planters, colourful baskets, soy candles, home-made confectionary, and leather work. And the kids will really enjoy the new sand wizard stall. ”
Special guest this year will be Daniel Goodall who will be singing from 10am until midday.
In addition to the Christmas raffle - drawn at 2pm at the close of the markets – Quota will also be providing a Christmas gift-wrapping service.
