We have a few first starters in Brooke Jefferies and Ruth and Ben France, the new Anglican Minister, and Sean McDougal.
Lots of the old hands will be having a run – including Anne Martin, Justin Gibson, Bernie Brady, Taddy McFarland and Lance Partridge.
It’s hopeful that Joe, Hattie and Nick Makeham along with Erica and Skye Sweeney will also have a run.
It would also be great to have last year’s winners Joe and Erica in the field again.
Runners can enter the race right up until the day. Entry is only $2 for adults and $1 for students.
The footrace will take place right after the first horse race on Saturday, February 7.
Entrants must be local of local origin and we always welcome back runners – even if they have only lived in the district for a short time.
Runners must be 15 years of age in 2015.
The Lions Club will once again be offering over $1000 in prize money and every female runner always wins a prize.
Get in shape and join in the fun.
