Club secretary Diana Lisle said the money was raised from last year’s very successful Walcha Garden Festival.
A large number of Garden Club members along with representatives from the charities and organisations attended the meeting and enjoyed lunch at Sue’s garden.
After lunch members also enjoyed a visit to Suz Lord’s garden at ‘Branga Plains’.
The club gave the largest amount - a sum of $20,000 to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service New England North West, while the Yarrowitch Hall Trust and Home and Community Care each received $5000.
The Walcha Health Service was given $2500, a total of $2000 went to the McGrath Foundation and the Cancer Council also received $2000.
The Walcha Garden Club donated $1000 each to the Walcha Men’s Shed, the Walcha and District Historical Society and the Walcha RSL Sub-Branch.
