A totally enjoyable trip to Singapore and whilst I was there I took the opportunity to visit Kranje Race track once again.

The visit was a first for son Yob who was totally astounded by the beauty of the facility and the manner in which racing is conducted there.
There are quite a lot of Australian trainers and jockeys there also and one who stood out at the weigh in after riding a winner was Corey Brown a cousin to Ricky Brown and the likeness was uncanny.
He was Ricky all over.
On March 12, George Woodward picked up the major end of the purse at Tamworth with Prize.
The run was enormous from Prize and the way he won makes one wonder why he hasn’t won more races.
Prize raced in second last place until the 400 metre mark where he made a lightning move to take the lead and win comfortably.
Friday the 13th proved to be a lucky day for the Dream Folk syndicate with that horse saluting the judge at Kembla Grange.
Dream folk raced in last place all the way to the 400 metre mark where he made his move.
He finished with blistering pace in the straight with the rider sitting up on him at the finish. Dream Folk ran the last 600m in a very fast 33.86 and the run will no doubt go into the little black book of many professional punters.
The Armidale Jockey Club held its Cup meeting on Monday and the Armidale Cup prelude proved to be the form race going into the Cup itself.
The first three place getters in the prelude finished in the first four on Monday with the Fenwicke family’s He’s Dreamin’ finishing in third place after racing in the back end of the field and appeared to be a bit unlucky after being held up for a run in the straight.
When he did see daylight he finished the race off really well.
Any longer and he would have made the race interesting. Finishing in fourth place was the Ken Martin owned and trained Go Dragon. Go Dragon’s run proved also that his form rise is no fluke and he looks to have a bright future also.
