The Walcha Central School student competed in the Women’s Gymnastic Level 2 category.
She received a 2 in Bars, 4.5 in Beam, 4.5 in Vault and 4.5 in Floor.
Overall obtaining a 18 and a Gold Band.
Well Done Charlotte on an amazing achievement.
Charlotte watched the 2016 Rio Olympics with great interest.
It comes as no surprise as to what her favourite events were.
“She enjoys watching the gymnastics and horse riding,” classroom teacher Kristy Lawrence said.
“Larrissa Miller is her gymnastics hero.”
Miller also began her gymnastics career at a young age when she was five at Moranbah Gymnastics Club.
When the team for Rio was announced in June, Miller was listed as Australia’s lone female representative.
Miller posted one of her best international individual scores in the qualification round in Rio but failed to make the final.
