Last Thursday, children, together with parents, carers and grandparents all enjoyed a sausage sizzle and painted their handprints on the outside of our craft room door! How bright and colourful the doors are now. The annual Book Week Parade followed and there were some excellent costumes. Last Friday the whole school travelled to Tamworth for a day out in the big smoke! They visited the library and saw a 3D printer in action and a robot called Nayo, who is programmed to follow commands.
Then off they went to the Capitol Theatre for a live performance of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. The senior students have been studying this book in English and were interested to see how the actors portrayed the characters. They finished the day off with a picnic at the Endeavour Marsupial Park and Adventure Playground.
