The Walcha Westpac mountain bike challenge was held for the 10th time last Sunday with 70 riders taking on the track. The cyclists spent six hours on a tough and challenging course at Langford House.

This annual event is made possible thanks to the support of our riders, volunteers and sponsors. They include Brian Smith Timber Transport, Walcha Council, New England Mountain Bikers Association, Onsite Rental group and Mountain Motors.
Every rider and supporter who came out had a beautiful sunny day in Walcha and got to experience the annual Mountain Festival as well.
The track tested all the participants who all managed to smile at the end of the six hours of racing the clock.
All the funds raised from the ride will help to ensure that no one ever has to pay to be assisted by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
