My mate Bill Brooker and myself are the only two bowlers still standing who participated in the first Pastureland tournament at Walcha Bowling Club and we are proud that we can still do so after 43 years.The tournaments are definitely getting better each year and remain a friendly event.

I write to extend our sincere congratulations to local players Snow and Normie on their latest success with their team mates. The win was well deserved and not unexpected by Bill and myself. It is not their first success and I am sure it will not be the last.
On a personal basis I was there to observe their transition from the cricket field to the bowling greens, and watched them develop into very good and successful bowlers at the Walcha club. Both Snow and Norm are a credit to the sport, to the Walcha club, community and their respective families.
We are very fortunate to know both these boys very well and we are looking forward to being around for the 2017 event and meeting up with them again.
