This year she raised $2,600 bringing her total donations to the Cancer Council NSW over the years close to $22,000.

“I sincerely want to thank everyone who donated to such a worthy cause,” Mrs Hoy said. 

“It was great to see so many people come to the morning tea and it was lovely to meet some new ladies. I especially want to thank everybody who made the whole event not only possible but so successful.”

Mrs Hoy said the morning tea would not happen without help.

“I could not do it without the wonderful ladies who cook delicious goodies, make sandwiches, get the morning teas ready to go and deliver them, as well as generally helping out at the clubhouse,” she said. 

“A special thank you to Walcha Road Barbara Dunn for donating a beautiful handmade rug and to everyone involved thank you, thank you, thank you.”
