The concert, on February 11, will feature two groups from New England – MC and The Squares and Foundlings, featuring Hugh, along with a Melbourne-based group, The Fred Holmes Alternative.
The Fred Holmes Alternative and Foundlings recently performed together in Melbourne, combining the Alternative’s urban rock with what Foundlings’ Adrian Walsh calls “our own distinctive brand of Walchan cow-punk”.
Hugh Cook and Adrian Walsh have been refining the Foundlings musical style during the past five years of playing together and recording. For the Uralla concert they will be joined by musicians Steve Tafra, Declan Humphreys and Tom Walsh.
MC and The Squares is a loose collective of musicians from various musical backgrounds brought together to play original songs written by the guitarist and singer Mark Cooper.
