An experienced dance teacher will be running a workshop in town this coming school holidays on behalf of Rebecca Hoy who has been running Destiny Dance Studio in Walcha for the last four years.

“Destiny Dance Studio is hosting a dance workshop with Breanna McFadden on September 25 which is the first week of the school holidays,” Ms Hoy said.
“Breanna’s passion is dance education - particularly in the regional and rural areas. She has choreographed for many different events and studios in Sydney and regionally including the North West Dance Company that has been selected for the NSW dance festival. “
With over 15 years of experience in the dance industry, Ms McFadden grew up up in Armidale where she trained under Colette Brazier and teachers and choreographers from both regional and metropolitan areas.
Ms McFadden graduated from university with a Bachelor of Dance and PDHPE education and is currently employed at Tamworth High School and teaching at Tamworth City Dance Academy.
“Mc McFadden is excited to offer dance technique classes and choreography to the students of Walcha in the holiday break,” Ms Hoy said.
The following workshops will run on September 25 at Walcha Central School at a cost of $30 per student.
Junior students years 2-5 jazz funk/hip-hop class both girls and boys welcome 9am-1.30pm
Senior students years 6-12 modern/contempary class both girls and boys welcome 1.30pm-5pm.
