Organisers say this year the event includes a terrific variety of activities and entertainment.
“There are quilt exhibitions, historic Langford House tours, amazing vintage cars, billy carts, Walcha Farmers Market, mountain bike and road bike events, market and food stalls, craft beer, boutique wines, fashion parades, great live music, as well as free activities for kids,” said Walcha Visitor Information officer Lisa Kirton.
On Saturday, October 21, the PKF Walcha Road Ride Challenges will be held. Two bike rides will loop through the countryside and finish in Walcha.
“There will also be a Billy Cart Derby, the Walcha Farmers Market and a Trash n Treasure market all held in the township,” Mrs Kirton said.
“The stunning Quilt Exhibition will also be set up for the whole weekend at the Langford Woolshed.”
On Sunday, October 22, the festival action will move to the grounds of Langford House for the finish of the Carlo’s IGA Captains’ Ride.
