On Saturday, there will be a gathering at the Walcha War Memorial to take part in the Armistice Day service at 10am. Lunch will then be served back at Tia in the ‘Old Woombi Woolshed’ where a display of historical Tia photos and memorabilia will be on show.
On Sunday, a church service will be held in the Tia Union Church from 10am, followed by the official unveiling of plaques in Tia Cemetery. Following this, a BYO picnic is planned for lunch in the church grounds.
