Mia Gillon, 27, and her two children were last seen at a property in Armidale on Sunday, November 12.
New England Detective Inspector Ann Joy said police have serious concerns for their welfare and were calling for public assistance as investigations continue.
“This matter is being treated as a missing persons case and Mia has not been in touch with key relatives or friends,” Inspector Joy told Fairfax Media on Friday afternoon.
“We have concerns in relation to her welfare, in particularly the safety and welfare of the two young children.”
They were reported to be travelling in a green Hyundai Excel with a Queensland number plate, when last seen at a local service station earlier this month.
“We have done extensive inquiries with relatives and friends and what I can say is at the time of the last sighting she was in the company of another male and female,” Inspector Joy said.
“We’re interested in speaking to those parties.
“We’re asking the public for information of any potential siting of Mia and her children, or sightings in relation to the vehicle that’s been described.”
