The Walcha athlete beat some impressive competition to be named New England’s junior regional athlete of the year at the awards evening in Armidale last week.
Ten finalists were listed in the category with some earning accolades at state and national level.
Dunn beat out the competition with a long list of achievements in his favour including:
Walcha Touch Football Association F grade best and fairest player 2016-17.
Walcha Indoor Hockey’s most improved male under 20 years in 2017.
Co-captain of the 2017 Northern Inland Academy of Sport Australian Rules Football squad.
Captain of the New England Nomads’ under 17 Aussie Rules team. Voted best on tour, 2017 NIAS AFL Sydney trip.
Co-captain for the 2017 NIAS Northern Stars Representative under 17 team who played North Coast Academy in Coffs Harbour as a curtain raiser to the Sydney Swans versus North Melbourne pre-season game.
