LOUD ENOUGH might be seven starts into his preparation but the gelding’s showing no signs of slowing down, according to trainer George Woodward.

The five-year-old will line up for his Walcha trainer in the McDonalds Armidale Cup on Sunday and Woodward said Loud Enough will “be right up there”.
“I think he’s really just hit his straps. I think he’ll race on for a while before I give him a spell,” Woodward said.
“He’s just thriving on it.”
Since Woodward took on Loud Enough in December last year, the son of Benicio hasn’t missed a placing from seven starts.
He’s scored two wins – including the Inverell Cup – two seconds and three thirds.
Heading into the Armidale Cup, the only thing that worries Woodward is a wet track as he hasn’t run Loud Enough on a heavy surface.
“I give him a good chance. He’s been going really well, the weight’s (57 kgs) good and I’ve got a pretty good jockey (Greg Ryan) on him,” Woodward said.
“He’s been good since I got him and he’ll run the distance out.”
While Woodward was confident, he also said a number of horses had the potential to win on Sunday.
“It’s a pretty even race,” Woodward said.
“There’s some pretty decent horses in it.
“The top weight [Egyptian Ruler] will be hard to beat but there’s four or five that can get right up there.”
