Mr Reid, who is currently residing in Walcha, is renowned for his fine line. His paintings display rich colours and a unique style of expressionism.
Unfortunately, he was delayed in Coffs Harbour and did not make the official opening of the exhibition which was given by Walcha artist Ross Laurie.
The local next gen’s were on hand though, welcoming people to view their work.
Gemma King demonstrated her superb figurative skills with a selection of charcoal drawings on paper depicting the world of the rodeo.
Rosy Waugh had two very different styles on show: one was a series of small and incredibly intricate pen drawings; the other was a series of abstracted geometric architectural images.
Ben Tooth’s work was a collection of wooden maquettes exploring the play of light and shadow based on forms found in farm gates and stock grids.
The joint exhibition is currently on show in the Walcha Gallery of Art.
