Walcha Vet Supplies is calling for nominations in its local hero promotion. To date, five altruistic individuals have been put forward to be named a local hero. A winner will be announced twice each year, and it will be up to them to name the community organisation Walcha Vet Supplies should give $2,000 to.

Jo Wicks has been nominated for cheerfully keeping our public amenities in shape and serving our aged and disabled residents.
Lisa Kirton has been recognised for working tirelessly on many committees and being a passionate advocate for Walcha.
Jacki Jarvisto has received a shout out for volunteering and supporting the community and her neighbours.
The village of Nowendoc is grateful to Allan Morris for his dedication to the community and the local hall.
Local saddler Bernard Brady has been suggested for his work behind the scenes and in times of emergency.
