Ana attended the NSW Pony Club showjumping and equitation championships in Morriset from July 7-9 and finished with the highest pointscore in the 15 to under 17 equitation.
Four rounds were contested with Ana and her mare Kirby Park Irish Empress receiving a first, two seconds and one fourth placing to gain the high pointscore overall.
Ana currently receives weekly lessons with Annyka Overton from Walcha.
This week Ana, along with fellow Walcha Central School student Shae Partrige, will compete at the the NSW interschools championships at Sydney International Equestrian centre.
Ana will be competing in eventing classes – EvA 95 and EvA 80 – and preliminary and novice dressage tests.
Shae will be competing in the show horse classes.
