The Tigers were downed 18-4 in the round 15 fixture and Brett admitted their defence wasn’t up to its usual standard.

“One of the big things I spoke to the girls about last night is that from the sideline is they just looked flat for whatever reason,” he said.
“Full credit to Walcha, they outplayed us in every facet, there is no doubt about that.
“But from our point of view, our girls are usually really good taggers, defence isn't always quite right but our tagging is usually quite good and that was just off.
“That really affected our flow-on.
“We were sort of hit and miss in attack, we have been working hard in the last few weeks with getting our attack a lot better but we just went back to our old ways for periods of play.
“For whatever reason they were flat in defence and that flowed on to attack.”
While his team were off, Brett was quick to compliment his opponents’ efforts.
“The biggest thing is we were out-enthused on the day,” he said.
“Walcha, full credit to them, they were better on the day, more enthusiasm and just wanted to win more than we did on the day.
“Not taking away from our girls, they did a lot of good stuff, just couldn't finish it off and we set of let ourselves down in other phases.”
It won’t be the last time the Tigers face Walcha with the major semi-final on August 18 set to be between the two sides.
Uralla have one more game before then, for their final round against Guyra, and Brett said they will be aiming to be back to the form which earned them top spot on the ladder.
“We will go back to the drawing board on a few things and come out firing I hope,” he said.
