The annual Walcha Kid’s Games event is being held this week, and this time the theme was medieval. Once again helpers from St Mark’s Anglican Church in Northbridge Sydney were on hand to assist the more than 25 local parishioners who made meals, ran activities and supplied transport.
Today, more than 90 children registered to take part in the four-day program. Of these, nearly half were in the Year 4 to Year 8 age group – which is a significant increase on previous years.
This popular school holiday event has been held for more than ten years and is run by the local Anglican and Presbyterian churches. Past themes have included superheroes and outer space.
