Ms Goor has been running the ‘Toys for Treatment Day’ on the first Tuesday in December for a quarter of a century this year.
“On this day, instead of paying for chiropractic treatment, I ask patients to bring in a toy or gift suitable for a child in need at Christmas,” she said.
“Next Tuesday, December 4 I invite you to get into the spirit of Christmas by thinking of others and make yourself feel better both inside and out.”
All you need to do is bring along either a new toy, or one in good used condition, and place it in the basket in the waiting room at the Walcha Chiropractic Centre. If you like, you can also attach a gift tag with a Christmas message from yourself and your family.
The Salvation Army will collect the toys at the end of the week and deliver them to children in need in time for Christmas.
