Everyone delivered a star performance, but a shout out has to go to Tayla Carter who stunned the audience with a spine-tingling self-choreographed solo to the powerful ‘River’ by Bishop Briggs.
Dancers aged between three years and seventeen years, along with principal Bec Hoy, performed 30 routines requiring 200 costumes.
Ms. Hoy said this year’s show had the best range of costumes of all shows since she founded the studio in 2013. Considering her costume room holds more than 2,000 outfits that's saying something.
There are nine different dance classes taught at the studio, with genres ranging from jazz, hip hop and modern.
The 2018 show was the result of more than 300 hours of rehearsals and preparation.
