A guilty verdict against Ledger could trigger yet another by election for the Uralla Shire Council, this time under Section 275 of the Local Government Act.

Uralla mayor Michael Pearce said he was not aware of Cr Ledger's court appearance and had no knowledge of the matter, so was unable to make any comment at this stage.
