To kick things off Karen Barnes interviewed local resident Kelly Wolfe about what Christmas means to her, her role as a mother, her community activities and why she moved to Walcha with her husband and five children.
Then the real fun began when 80 women created 50 gingerbread houses in two hours. After a quick dusting of icing sugar, and careful wrapping in cellophane, the maestros and their masterpieces were ready to go home.
