TWO truck drivers have been killed in separate accidents in the last 24 hours after both vehicles lost control and left the road.

About 12.30pm on Tuesday, emergency services rushed to reports a Pantech truck had run off the Oxley Highway at Yarras, east of Walcha.
The truck ended up in a dam on a nearby property, near the Forbes River Road, close to Mount Seaview.
When emergency services arrived they found the driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was trapped in the cabin. He could not be revived.

Investigations into the moments leading up to the crash are continuing, police said.
Meanwhile, a 40-year-old truck driver died following a fatal crash on the Thunderbolts Way at Giro on Monday.
About 5.40pm, emergency services were called to the site, about 40km north of Gloucester, towards Nowendoc, after reports of a single vehicle crash.
Officers found a truck off the road down an embankment.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene while his 40-year-old passenger suffered non life-threatening injuries, police said.
The passenger was taken to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle in a stable condition.
Manning Great Lakes police setup a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
