We asked them to tell us what they liked best about starting 'big school' and what they hoped to be when they grew up.
Given all their career ambitions we're set to be in safe hands - with aspirations ranging from vets and doctors to policemen.
There are thirteen children in the 2019 kindergarten cohort with more than 80 students in the school across all grades.
This year the Catholic Diocese of Armidale ( which the WalchaShire belongs to ) has a strong focus on literacy with the introduction of the Big Write and VCOP programs.
Both are designed to bring the fun back into writing, to make the children want to write and to be continuously challenged throughout the writing journey.
Teachers use games, activities, writing tasks, conversations and discussions, so students learn not only where their abilities lie in a fun and engaging way, but also the steps they need to take, to continue to improve.
