Junior soccer has grown since last year from three teams to five. Last month a total of 45 children signed up - a 50 per cent increase on last season.

Part of the growth has been attributed to the success of the Active Kids vouchers provided by the State Government.
In February this year, Premier Gladys Berejiklian announced that from July families would be able to access two $100 Active Kids vouchers per child each year.
The program, first introduced in the 2017 budget, is designed to help offset the high cost of out-of-school sports.
Soccer has seen the highest number of vouchers used throughout the state.
Locally the Active Kids Voucher allows players to register for a full season for just $30, and that is reflected in the number of young teams and players coming through.
The new committee led by Cameron Hayton, Kelly Wolfe and Lisa Green has also reinvigorated interest in the football code locally.
