The Walcha Jillaroos succumbed to their third loss on the trot at the hands of a vastly-improved Tenterfield Tigers outfit.

The Tigers led 6-nil at half-time before going on to win 12-8.
The men's match was a firey and physical affair with both teams muscling up in defence. Less than two minutes in, Walcha centre Jock Abraham split the defence and ran 70 metres to score.
Walcha found themselves 8-nil in front after a penalty goal before Tenterfield hit their straps.
Brendan Blaker crossed 20 minutes in and seven minutes later Geoff Swan junior made his way across for the Tigers to take the lead 10-8.
Abraham crossed for his second try three minutes from half-time and the Roos earned another two points via a penalty goal to lead 16-10 at the break.
In the second stanza, the Tigers levelled things up via Wayne Brown.
The highlight of the match came shortly after when referee Dean Carson hit the turf and rolled backwards before leaping up to continue officiating.
Not long after, Abraham crossed for his third try which went unconverted.
A player from each side was sin binned late in the match but the Roos held on to win 20-16.
Both teams hold onto third spot on the ladder.
