First up was the annual Father's Day morning tea where dads enjoyed bacon and egg rolls with a cuppa outside the school canteen.
Next was a 45-minute music appreciation class for the whole school and guests. A piano chamber music trio from the New England Conservatory of Music performed for the gathering and also involved the entire audience.
After this, the classroom doors were flung open for the annual grandparents morning before the finale Book Week costume parade began.
Participants in the readathon were then congratulated for their efforts, which raised more than $900 for the school library.
All in all, a wonderful time was had by all.
