As well as the usual foodie stalls, there were spring lambs to cuddle, and the bubble lady was on hand to imbue the atmosphere with her light-hearted spirit.
Music from the Banjo Man was the perfect accompaniment to the morning.
Billy cart trials were also held at the new venue beside the park, and the billy cart launcher was revealed. A dozen children tested out their custom-built carts constructed at a workshop earlier this month using billy cart kits created by the Walcha Men's Shed.
The annual Billy Cart Challenge will be held during the Walcha Mountain Festival weekend next month.
