This Saturday the Walcha Farmers' Market coincides with the final race of the season for the Walcha Billy Cart Derby as well as the Walcha Motorcycle weekend," said said Walcha Farmers Market secretary, Lisa Kirton.
"There will be a Best 'Mo Competition for Movember, to raise money for men's health research and initiatives. If you have a moustache then start grooming and come along to the markets, there will be some great prizes on offer!."
Residents are also invited to bring along any excess produce, home cooking, eggs, plants and so on to the Community Stall. Lisa said this is an easy way to get involved with the markets and make some money without taking out your own stall.
"It is a great way of making some extra money from your excess produce or cooking," said Lisa.
"Just drop your items off to the Community Stall anytime on market day and we will sell them for you.
"No application necessary and no requirement for you to stay the day. All proceeds from your sales will be given to you after the market, minus 20% commission."
The regular selection of stalls includes pastries, espresso coffee, Woolbrook P&C breakfast BBQ, smoked trout, homemade lemonade, handmade body products, plants, live music and kids' giveaways and activities.
"Bring along the family or a group of friends and don't miss this exciting weekend in Walcha with so much on offer in town," Lisa said.
The Walcha Farmers' Markets are held on the third Saturday of the month (except during winter) from 8.30am-12.30pm in McHattan Park.
