By all accounts the trio bogeyed the final hole but still managed to finish under par.
Unfortunately Kyle couldn't make the photo shoot due to work commitments watching the cricket in Brisbane.
TITLE holders from 2018 Wayne Brennan, his son Andrew and AJ Cross were a shot and a half off the pace as were Luke Brennan, Charlie Norton and Will Nichols.
Over 70 players teed off during the day and enjoyed the sausage sizzle lunch prepared by members of the Berry clan.
WITH one round to go before the Christmas/New Year break Uralla and Round Swamp are equal leaders of the local cricket competition on 42 points, followed by Kentucky 22 and Colts 18.
This Saturday is a top-of-the-table clash between Swamp and Uralla at the Uralla Sports Complex while Kentucky and Colts do battle at Peter Fenwicke Oval.
SWAMP allrounder Ben France scored an unbeaten ton last Saturday against Colts at Peter Fenwicke Oval.
In his last three innings 'The Rev' has amassed 262 runs (113 no,74 no and 75) and because he has only been dismissed once in that time he averages 262 since he was dismissed for two runs in the Turton Cup final.
BIG WIGS of the week Ben France 113 no, Shannon Rafferty 73, Paul Pitman 61, Barry Hoy 60, Ed Blomfield 56, Cameron McKinnon 2/5, Toby Endacott 3/18.
POULTRY Farmers of the week Jim Boyd, Michael Boyd (both golden) Wayne Boyd, Bob Jex, Chris Philp, Cameron McKinnon and Thomas Swann.
AFTER veteran Michael Boyd and his eldest son Jim were both dismissed for golden ducks there is a fair chance Mick's other two sons Cooper and Preston would have been giving their fair share of cheek this week.
Coop knocked up 19 against Colts while Preston racked up 19 against Uralla .
THE New England Veteran Cricket Team hosted Merewether here in Walcha last Sunday and went close to winning the match.
New England batted first scoring 246 for a loss of six wickets before the visitors made 7 / 247 with a couple of overs up there sleeve .
WALCHA players Steph Sweeney and Wayne Boyd both made 29 runs each while Barry Hoy notched up 21 runs when he opened the innings.
All three players hit four boundaries each during their stay at the batting crease.
BRUMBIES development officer Lachlan Crichton formerly of Walcha, certainly has a few fingers in the pie when it comes to rugby in the national capital.
Lachie coached a Brumbies u / 17 squad to a bronze medal in the national 7's Championships at Noosa earlier in the month.
ALTHOUGH he is development officer at the moment Lach will soon take on the role of development manager who oversees all the development officers. In his own words Lachie reckons the job will involve a lot more administration and less time on the road.
LAST week there was a photo of some of the undefeated u / 10's cricket team - the Brennan Brothers Coby and Bentley, Cameron Mooney, Brayden Greenhalgh, Hugo Ussher and Toby Ireland.
The remaining members of the team are Fletcher France, Levi Olsen, Henry Blomfield, brother's Lachie and Zane Wiess. Hopefully we'll get a full team shot when junior cricket resumes in February.
