"There are a few favourites - family time, the food, and then the Christmas Day after lunch snooze," Anne said.
"My least favourite things are the washing up and cleaning up!"
Ideally there will be no distractions, no phones, just family, friends and fun Anne said, but there will be some overindulgence with a family tradition.
"Christmas time means eating panettone for breakfast," she said.
"Panettone is an Italian type of sweet bread made at Christmas time. Our whole family doesn't have much control in this space and we go through a few of them over the season.
"We also like to take time to reflect on the year just passed, and talk about what we are proud of and thankful for. I will be spending the day relaxing in Walcha, just with Luke and the kids. It will be our first Christmas day with just us - and we are all looking forward to it."
Santa will be bringing Anne a couple of books and a some new joggers.
"The books for relaxing and the joggers so I can keep enjoying our wonderful levy bank for my walks," she said.
"I've almost done all my Christmas shopping - just a more jars of Walcha honey and items from Walcha Handmade for the extended family and that's a wrap."
And what are Anne's top tips for enjoying a merry Christmas?
"Give, smile, slow down and enjoy."
