While Miss Moree and Miss Wee Waa showgirls made it through to go to the Sydney Royal, Miss Yarnold did the town proud according to Walcha Showgirl coordinator Pip Monie.
"I attended with my husband Angus and Felicity's parents Michael and Margaret," Mrs Monie said.
"Felicity was fabulous."
Miss Yarnold said she wanted to thank the Walcha Show Society for allowing her to get out of her comfort zone.
"I would like to give a big thanks to my family for their support throughout the year and to Mr and Mrs Monie for coming to the zone finals and supporting me," she said.
"I highly recommend the experience. The Walcha Show Society sent me to Polish Works in Glen Innes to help get me ready for the zone finals, and I also met like-minded young ladies who are all representing their communities and a rural lifestyle."
"To any young ladies out there who are aged between 18 and 25, this is a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people and to become an ambassador for our region.
"If you are interested, please get in contact with either myself or Pip Monie, and we will be more than happy to give you more information about entering the competition."
