"Participants will need to arrive at 7.45am for a pre-run briefing," said organiser Emma Noakes.
Parkrun is an international phenomenon with more than 3,700 clubs operating across the world. It is a free weekly five kilometre run/walk/jog open to everyone of any age and any fitness level.
"The parkrun will be held every Saturday at the same time and place, year-round, rain, hail or shine,' said Ms Noakes.
"If you want to record your time then print out a barcode from the Australian parkrun website.
"I encourage people of every ability to take part and give it a try - walkers, juniors, beginners and seasoned runners. You have nothing to lose because it is free."
