The Walcha Rams travelled to face the Harbour Knights in arguably the match of the round.
And it didn't let anyone down.
The Rams were leading 31-24 before a yellow card to Pat Keen followed by a converted try to the Knights saw the match finish in a nail-biting draw.
Walcha coach Hyde Thomson wasn't disappointed with the result on the scoreboard but he did highlight a few areas where the Rams fell short.
"It was a really high quality game, I thought," he said.
"We botched opportunities and chose the wrong options at times which hurt us, gave away too many penalties again.
"It would have been good to win but it was a really solid game and we will be better for that."
Thomson was happy with how his forwards performed.
"The forwards really stood up, I think we may have been dominant over their forwards," he said.

"Our backs are struggling to gel just at the moment."
The Harbour Knights club is a joint venture between the Southern Cross University Marlins and the Coffs Harbour Snappers.
With the two clubs combining, there is plenty of numbers.
"They will be a real force they have a lot of depth there," Thomson said.
"They are definitely going to be one of the ones to beat."
The Rams will have their first fixture at home this Saturday, coming up against St Albert's College in all grades.
The student entered the competition admittedly "underdone" to start with a round one loss bounced back with a 52-5 drubbing of the Barbarians, the same side Walcha beat the week before 43-nil.
The students dazzled against the Baa Baas with an eight try-haul.
Thomson said he doesn't know too much about the other teams in the New England competition but Albies' big win caught his attention.
"I was a little bit shocked to see that score against Albies, I thought they [Barbarians] were a much better side than our scoreline but another side beats them by more than us, it is a bit of a worry," he said.
"To see that scoreline, it made you prick your ears and sit up and think 'wow.'
"It will be good to have a home game though."
The Rams pulled through the Coffs game without any major injuries.
This Saturday, four grades are expected to grace Walcha's Captain Cook Oval.
The Pirates women's team features Walcha's Shae Partridge and Chloe Swanton and will take the field in two matches.
Third grade is scheduled to commence at 11.55am, followed by the first of women's sevens games, second grade, then another women's fixture followed by first grade.
