“We would like to invite the public to our Open House display to celebrate all things CWA with lots of craft and cooking to purchase as well as enjoy our famous tea and coffee served with home-baked scones, cream and jam,” CWA Committee chair Thea Zwiebel said.

The wares include locally made handicrafts, merino wool infants’ clothing, Vietnamese linen, scented soy candles, and alpaca yarn.
All profits go to the CWA’s Disaster Relief fund, which helps people in need; the annual State Handicraft competition; and to recoup expenses.
The CWA are also holding a raffle for the Flying Doctors. The hamper includes jewellery, a blanket, and chocolates.
The CWA Open House is at the Armidale Town Hall, 127 Rusden St, until 9pm tonight, and from 9am to 6 tomorrow.
