It was the first time selling at the Tamworth facility for Denis and he says that he was pleased with the result, adding that he estimated the lambs would dress around 22kg. Selling agent, Gary Olrich, Pitt Sons, Walcha agreed that it was an excellent result given that the lambs were only four months old.
With increased numbers of suckers starting to come coming through, Tamworth Livestock Selling Agents are gearing up for some busy times ahead.
Friday, September 5, will see the only store sheep sale of the year with sheep joining cattle for the Spring Spectacular Store Sale.
