The markets will now be closed over winter.
On Saturday the market featured an interesting workshop at 10am by local stallholder “Sunhill” on dairy goat husbandry. Richard brought female goats and their kids for the children to enjoy.
The workshop focussed on how to look after your goat with tips on diet, housing, foot care and breeding.
All the usual stalls were there and attendees enjoyed fresh coffee and exotic teas along with cool home-made refreshments, pastries, egg and bacon rolls, gourmet lamb pies, sweets and a whole range of other scrumptious delights.
“Home-made relishes, cakes, fresh produce, plants and so on were available at the community stall,” said committee member Paula Jenkins.
The Markets will be re-commencing September 19 after the winter break.
