THE Walcha Rams pulled off the upset of the Central North season when they defeated the previously unbeaten Narrabri Boars 30-20 at Narrabri last Saturday. Harry King scored two tries and picked up 3 club best and fairest points, Simon Newton collected 2 club and 1 zone point while Ross Fletcher and Thomas Hoy both received a club point each. Country rep Soni Halanulonuka was awarded the three zone points.

THIS Saturday the Rams do battle with leaders Pirates here at the Park in the final round of the competition. Depending on how they go Walcha will be in line to host a semi final the following Saturday.
They are currently in third position behind Pirates and Narrabri but are two points ahead of Moree and seven clear of Inverell. Go the Rams.
WALCHA Rugby League had a spell last Saturday due to the Group 4 General Bye in Second Division but will be back in action this Saturday when both the Roos and Jillaroos travel to Barraba.
