Notable items from the meeting include:
* Fees for this year will be $65.00 / adult, $20.00 for 1st child, $10.00 for 2nd child, further children are free (10-17 years).
* Maximum fourteen (14) players per team
* Teams and players are to be registered and paid prior to taking the field.
* Payments can be made online during online registration process this year (but it is not compulsory).
* Once again a 3 strikes and you’re out rule will apply, any team to forfeit 3 matches during the season will be eliminated from the competition, a for / against margin has been introduced for forfeited matches
* Any missed assigned refereeing or team duties will result in the subject team losing a competition point
* Games are to be played in accordance with Touch Football Australia Playing Rules 7th ed. and Park Competition Rules (copy available online, on the Facebook page or upon request)
Junior Competition:
* This year the Junior Competition will be run in two divisions:
- Children in years 3-6 at school (currently) will be put into one division. Students wishing to participate are asked to nominate online into the team “Walcha Touch Juniors Years 3-6”, Team Code 21693373. You will then be allocated into teams by the committee.
- Children in high school (currently) will be in the second division. Students wishing to participate are asked to nominate as normal into a team of your own choosing.
WTFA calls for nomination of teams for this years competition, all teams are to register online, the team captain is to firstly register their team, once a team is registered the captain can pass on the team code to the players, then the team members can register online as participants of that team, subs can be paid online during the registration process. If this could be done ASAP it would be greatly appreciated so draws can be prepared for next weeks papers etc. If you are not able to enter your team online by Monday please at least let me know your team and preferred Division by Monday so I can prepare the draw.
The season will kick off next Thursday 3/11/2016 at John Oxley Sportsground, the first week will be for grading purposes. The Committee will be there from 5:30pm, to assist anyone with registrations and collect payments from those unable to complete online.
