The singer songwriter will launch her second album Airborne at the South Tamworth Bowling Club on Friday, January 27, from 10am.
It is one of a number of performances on the cards for Butler who is excited to show off her new material to those in the industry and its fans.
“I’m pretty excited, it’s been an ongoing project,” she said.
“Airborne” introduces 11 tracks Butler has written the majority with help from her mum Val, Roger Corbett, Kathy Dobson, Anita Ree, Felicity Urquhart and the remainder balanced out by Bob Wilson, Rain Perry, Lola Brinton, Kevin Bennett and Luke O’Shea.
Butler said this album would take listeners through the ups and downs of relationship breakdowns and the emotions that followed, she’s honed her brilliant bush ballad storytelling skills in the process.
“Everything has been going fantastic since the first album, I feel that the country music industry in Australia has supported me and helped me along my journey.
“This album will really take me to that next level, and hopefully I can maybe get a record deal and some producer could take me on.
“I think there’s something in this album for everyone - it definitely has a wider musical genre type choice there.”
