Come with your authentic or created moustaches, and join us for the Best Mo Competition from 10am, with prizes to be won.
The aim of the MOvember market is to create awareness of the major issues impacting men’s health in today’s society. MOvember is the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year round, addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. Through fundraising for research, and by creating awareness, these issues can be significantly reduced.
Fake moustaches can be purchased from the Community Stall for children and those unable to grow a mo. The Committee will be donating 50 per cent of stallholder fees to the Movember cause. Donation boxes will be available at the markets and around town for those wanting to donate to the cause.
The Walcha Farmers’ Markets are held the third Saturday of every month (except during winter) in McHattan Park, from 8.30am – 12.30pm. For more information visit: www.walchafarmersmarket.org.au or phone 0439 384 433.
